10 Tips on Writing a Winning Proposal; Information is power but only when applied.
1. Have a clear goal in mind of what you want to achieve.
2. Ask this simple questions; what you want to do, when you want to do it, where you want to do it, who can support you to do it, what resources do you need to accomplish task, how do you hope to accomplish it.
3. Answer every question outlined above in detail leaving no question unanswered.
4. Document your answers on paper, ipad, epad or your pc.
5. Share your thoughts with a trusted partner or friend who believes in your dream and welcome their inputs, criticisms and feed backs.
6. Speak with someone or a professional who has done previously what you want to do. Know this, that whatever you want to do has been done by someone somewhere but may be differently.
7. Learn from their successes, failures and wealth of experience.
8. Add a touch of difference to your business plan or proposal by selling your difference and uniqueness or projecting the comparative advantages of your product or services.
9. Identify a prospective partner, funder, supporter or donor who shares in your vision or project.
10. Package your business plan or proposal nicely and submit to your prospect! Some may turn you down but remember; behind every NO there is a YES, which makes all the negative responses inconsequential.
